EXPERIENCE
Becca’s passion for physical therapy stems from her love of sports and weightlifting. In high school, she grew up a three-sport athlete, competing in volleyball, basketball, and softball. She later went on to serve as the manager for the Oakland University women’s volleyball team where she gained exposure to and knowledge of training at the collegiate level.
While pursuing her doctorate, Becca completed multiple internships related to manual based therapy where she gained clinical experience treating in the outpatient orthopedic setting. Since graduating, she has also expanded her treatment knowledge becoming certified in functional dry needling.
PROFESSIONAL INVOLVEMENT
During her time at Oakland University, Becca served as a Graduate Assistant for her program, leading her to a 2025 journal publication under the guidance of her professors and peers.
Becca’s goal as a physical therapist is to not only help rehabilitate and restore daily function, but to educate and inspire her patients to continue participating in all of the activities that they love. Outside of the clinic, Becca’s personal commitment to health and fitness continues to be reflected in her own achievements. She has trained for and competed in NPC bodybuilding, completed multiple races including a half and full marathon, and enjoys strength-focused weight training. She plans to utilize her knowledge and experiences to help develop injury prevention programming for overhead athletes and power lifters.
