MODALITIES

  • At Elite Physical Therapy, we use Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) therapy to help patients build strength and muscle safely, even when lifting lighter weights is necessary due to injury or post-surgery limitations. BFR uses specialized cuffs to gently restrict blood flow to a limb, enhancing muscle activation and growth while minimizing stress on joints and healing tissues.

This innovative therapy is especially effective for rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, and injury prevention, allowing patients to regain strength faster and safely return to daily activities, sports, and performance goals.

  • Dry needling is used to target tight muscles, trigger points, and areas of pain to reduce tension and improve mobility. Thin, sterile needles are inserted into specific muscle points to help release knots, relieve pain, and restore normal muscle function.

Dry needling is often combined with stretching, strengthening, and movement training to enhance recovery, improve range of motion, and support long-term injury prevention, helping patients return to daily activities, sports, and optimal performance more quickly.

  • KT Tape is used to support muscles and joints, reduce pain, and improve circulation during activity and rehabilitation. Applied strategically, KT Tape helps stabilize injured areas while allowing for natural movement, making it an effective tool for both recovery and injury prevention.

When combined with manual therapy, exercise, and movement training, KT Tape can enhance performance, reduce discomfort, and support faster, safer return to daily activities and sports.

  • At Elite Physical Therapy, we use the Graston Technique®, a specialized form of manual therapy that employs stainless steel instruments to detect and treat soft tissue restrictions. This hands-on approach helps break up scar tissue, adhesions, and tight muscles, promoting healing and restoring normal tissue mobility.

When combined with stretching, strengthening, and movement training, Graston Technique® can reduce pain, improve range of motion, and enhance functional performance, helping patients recover faster and return safely to daily activities and sports.

  • Use of Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES), also known as E-stim, helps to activate muscles, reduce pain, and improve circulation. Small electrodes deliver controlled electrical impulses to targeted muscles, encouraging contraction and improving strength, especially after injury or surgery when muscles may be weak or inhibited.

When combined with therapeutic exercises and movement training, NMES helps restore muscle function, enhance recovery, and support a safe return to daily activities, sports, and overall performance.
