EXPERIENCE

Brittni’s love of movement, performance, and wellness started young — from team sports and running to weightlifting — and grew into a career. She studied exercise science at GVSU and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan–Flint. Brittni has practiced in orthopedic outpatient clinics, helping people across ages and conditions while pursuing ongoing professional development. She holds certifications and additional training in dry needling, pelvic health, amputee care, osteoporosis prevention, sport-specific rehab, and has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) since 2014.

PROFESSIONAL INVOLVEMENT

As an undergrad, Brittni interned with the Barwis Method, designing strength programs for high school athletes at East Grand Rapids High School. A former collegiate cheerleader at GVSU, she balanced rigorous training with strong academic performance. During graduate school she served as president of the DPT Student Association, organizing outreach, fundraisers, and social events. At Elite, Brittni is excited to support community programs — including Elite Run Club — and to develop a women’s program focused on safely building bone density and weight-lifting confidence through strength training.
